The TWAS-ICCBS Postgraduate Fellowship 2025 is a fully funded opportunity for young scientists from developing nations to conduct PhD-level research at the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, Pakistan. Offered by The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), this program aims to strengthen scientific research capacity in the Global South.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be citizens of a developing country (except Pakistan)
Be 35 years of age or younger as of December 31, 2025
Hold a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences
Be registered PhD students in their home country (with proof)
Provide a Preliminary Acceptance Letter from ICCBS
Submit a No Objection Certificate from their home university
Provide a recent medical certificate
Submit two signed reference letters
Show proof of English proficiency (if prior education was not in English)
Commit to returning to their home country after completing the fellowship
Not hold any visa for residency in Pakistan or any developed country
