The 2025 round—KT Boost Fund 7—is now accepting applications from June 2 to October 1, 2025. This initiative, led by GSO e.V. and the Klaus Tschira Stiftung, supports bold and innovative projects designed to propel academic careers forward.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
Hold a completed PhD in natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, or a related interdisciplinary field
Be a postdoctoral researcher or early-career scientist
Propose an independent, high-risk, or interdisciplinary project
Be affiliated with a German research institution, or secure a confirmed host institution in Germany
Be willing to participate in workshops and mentoring activities
